Golden Hour Maternity Session at Ballas Park | Lehigh Valley Maternity Photographer
Some families plan their maternity session months in advance, and others call when baby is just about ready to make her debut. Luckily, since I photograph full time, I was able to get Sabrina and her husband on my calendar with no problem and I’m so glad we made it happen!
At 37–38 weeks pregnant, Sabrina was absolutely glowing (and not just from the summer heat). We met at Ballas Park in Wind Gap, PA, one of my favorite spots for outdoor maternity photography in the Lehigh Valley. The tall grasses, warm golden light, and rolling hills made the perfect backdrop for a session that was equal parts romantic and playful.
One of my favorite things about maternity photography is capturing that in-between stage. The final chapter before a new little person changes everything. Sabrina and her husband laughed, snuggled, and stole a few quiet moments together, knowing that soon their arms would be full of teeny fingers and toes.
Fun fact: I first met this sweet family at their maternity session. In fact, we booked their newborn session right there in the parking lot afterward — talk about making memories before the memories even happen! Now, they’ll get to look back on these beautiful bump photos and then flip to the very next chapter when their baby girl made her big debut.
If you’re an expecting parent in the Lehigh Valley (or anywhere in the Wind Gap, Bethlehem, or Easton areas) and you think it’s “too late” for maternity photos….it’s not! Whether you’re 20 weeks or 38 weeks, there’s always time to celebrate your pregnancy with a session that’s uniquely you.
