It's probably the number one concern I hear before we ever meet.

One thing I tell every family is this:

You don't have to spend the session trying to make your kids smile.

That's my job.

We'll play games, race through the field, tell silly jokes, whisper secrets, cuddle, and yes... sometimes we'll even tickle.

Sometimes we'll stop and let your child look at bugs for a minute.

Those little pauses often become my favorite photographs.

But What If My Child Cries?

Honestly?

Sometimes they do.

They're little humans.

They're tired.

They're hungry.

They're overwhelmed.

That's okay.

We'll slow down.

We'll take breaks.

We'll have snacks.

We'll reset.

There has never been a family I've photographed where I thought,

"Well... that was hopeless."

Never.

Parents are almost always surprised when they receive their gallery because they remember the chaos...

I remember the connection.

Family Pictures Aren't About Looking Perfect
